Bobby Altman is principal of Altman Architects, Inc. of Miami, Florida, which he established in 1974. He considers each project to be a unique challenge calling for an individual, highly personalized response, and for that reason has intentionally kept his firm small. Over the years Bobby Altman's work has been featured numerous times in such publications as Architectural Record, Florida Architecture, Southern Accents, Metropolitan Home, and South Florida Home and Garden. He has also served as architect to the Florida governor’s mansion. Before establishing Altman Architects, Inc., Bobby Altman gained valuable insights through association with several prestigious organizations that possess international reputations. These have included The Architects' Collaborative (Walter Gropius) of Boston, Mass.; Leonardo Ricci Atelier of Florence, Italy; and Sidney Kay, Eric Fermin & Partners, London, England. He is a 1970 University of Florida graduate.
